In 2021, he was promoted to Division Vice President International Brand Ambassador for Jackson Family Wines, continuing his previous role on a global scale with particular focus on Europe, Canada, Middle East & Asia.

His extensive knowledge and travel to most of the world’s major winemaking regions, enabled Dimitri to pass the notoriously difficult Court of Master Sommelier’s Diploma examination in 2003. He has played an active role in the organisation ever since and is honoured to have held the position of Chairman for the European Court of Master Sommeliers since 2009.

Dimitri is a regular panelist and judge for various wine and Sommelier competitions around the world such as the Chaine des Rotisseurs and Decanter Magazine’s World Wine Awards.
