Originally from Normandy, I arrived in London in the mid-nineties where I started my English career in wine, working as Head Sommelier in Michelin star places until I joined Sir Terrence Conran in 1997, opening his private members club in Chelsea.
I have worked for nearly 20 years for the restaurant Group D&D, first as Head Sommelier and Wine buyer before ending my career in the hospitality, as food and beverage, training manager in 2016.That year, I finished third in the UK Sommelier of the Year competition. I then joined the on-trade in 2017, now working for French specialist Champagnes and Chateaux since 2020.
I am the Secretary/treasurer and Founder of the United Kingdom Sommelier Academy in 2022. Truly passionate about wine, I believe that wine is a social lubricant and should never be consumed alone.
